Following Romania, we had a long day of travel. We arrived by plane into Barcelona, Spain and immediately transferred to a train to go to Portbou, in the Costa Brava area of Spain. We spent a week hiking coastal paths around several towns and loved it. After Costa Brava, we returned to the Barcelona area, our last destination before flying back to the US. During this time, we were fortunate to book a fantastic “adventure” boat trip for the first day of the 37th Americas Cup Finals (New Zealand vs. Great Britain).
As this was the end of our 6 month trip, which included 9 countries, we look back and are reminded what a fabulous journey it was. We can honestly say there isn’t much we would change about any of it. No matter where you are in the world, there are always so many places to go, so many things to see, and so much good food to eat. Here’s looking forward to another trip 🙂
