Sweet Sri Lankan Pancakes. The pancake is made with turmeric and is more like a thick crepe with a coconut and sugar filling. These were fantastic. Sigiriya, Sri Lanka.

We were served this traditional Sri Lankan dessert, oil cake. It was interesting, not very sweet but good. It's made with something similar to soy beans. Polonnaruwa, Sri Lanka.

A few of our favorite snacks, seaweed wrapped rice triangles filled with meat (we liked the beef and chicken the best). Northern Area, Taiwan.

Tainan Coffin Bread. A quickly fried thick piece of bread which is hollowed out and filled with vegetables, seafood, and a chowder type sauce. Surprisingly, very good. Southern Area, Taiwan.

7-Eleven Rice triangles. Rice wrapped in seaweed and filled with a variety of options which include pork, chicken, beef, fish, peanuts, and vegetables. They are always fresh and are a nice snack. Southern Area, Taiwan.

Our noodle dish in Ruisui. We had no idea what we actually ordered, but it ended up being very good. East Coast, Taiwan.

Our sushi in Hualien. The pieces were 10 Taiwan dollars each or roughly 30 US cents a piece (we were stuffed after eating $10 US worth). East Coast, Taiwan.

Nightly fresh seafood barbecue. So fresh some of the fish were still flopping around when they first put them out. Phu Quoc, Vietnam.

Cinnamon Pork simmered in a Clay Pot. We had to try this and it did not disappoint. So unusual, and super delicious. Hoi An, Vietnam.

Ba Le Well Restaurant. They serve one set menu. All this comes out and you roll everything inside the rice papers and dip in the sauce. Fun and delicious. Hoi An, Vietnam.

Goat with lemongrass and chili dinner. To eat, wrap pineapple, goat, and mint in rice paper, then dip in sweet sauce. Amazingly good. Tam Coc, Vietnam.

Fried sweet and sour fish. For fried food, this was surprisingly good. The fish was super fresh. Cat Ba Island, Vietnam.

Squid & Prawns with lemongrass and chili dinners. The seafood was fantastic here and very inexpensive too. Cat Ba Island, Vietnam.
