After a few days in Barcelona, we flew directly to Lisbon where we started our 3 week journey around Portugal. Arriving in Portugal was a nice change, but it felt so very different after spending so much time in Italy along with a few days in Spain. The architecture, the language, the culture, the food, etc. was much more diverse than where we’d spent the previous 2 months. We really enjoyed exploring the different areas in Portugal and would love to return to a few of our favorite places.
