We flew to Lisbon, Portugal in mid April, to start another one of our trips, this one being almost 7 months in duration. We stayed in Lisbon for only a day before we traveled south to Lagos in the Algarve for beaches and warmer weather. We had previously visited this area for a short time several years ago and really enjoyed it. This visit we opted for a 3 week stay to see what the area was really like. It did not disappoint. The area has great hiking along its coastline, beautiful beaches and scenery, and a great mix of really good food. Our weather was mostly sunny (mid 70’s) during the day with breezy and cool afternoons and evenings, perfect for hiking and enjoying time outside. We thoroughly enjoyed our longer stay in Lagos and look forward to returning in the near future.
